Jean-Jacques Gailliard - Decor for the play "Au pied du mur" by Louis Aragon, 1925, Gouache
Group 2 Gallery Brussels is delighted to announce its new thematic exhibition about the Belgian Avant-Garde movement, which started around 1917 and developed during the 1920's up to the early 1930's. It is not the gallery's intention to present a complete overview of this unique period in belgian art history, but efforts have been made to present a selection of fine quality and some extremely rare works by several major members of the Avant-Garde movement in Belgium, which certainly deserves more international attention and recognition.
